Ecopac Power introduces the latest addition to the Mean Well HLG range, a 120-watt high efficiency and high IP rated model the HLG-120 series

After the successful launch of the HLG-240 series, Mean Well has now developed a 120-watt high efficiency and high IP rated model the HLG-120 series. With built-in active PFC function and input range of 90 - 264VAC the HLG-120 series not only meets the harmonic current limitation per EN61000-3-2 Class C, they also fulfil PF>0.9 if loading is over 50 - 60%.

With up-to date LLC and synchronize rectify technology, the HLG-120 series has up to 94% of high efficiency, and fully potted with heat-dissipating glue the units are rated at IP 65 or IP67. To enable the units to operate in outdoor harsh environments the HLG-120 series has been designed with full-aluminium case and stainless steel screws. And with cooling by only free air convection they can operate at full load from -30°C to +60°C ambient temperature

The HLG-120 series has the option to adjust the constant current output with either a 1~10Vdc or a 10V PWM signal or resistor, these offer system designers great flexibility for designing luminaries with energy saving and brightness reduction.

These high efficiency power supplies are very suitable for LED street lighting, LED spotlights, outdoor displays, LED decorative lighting, or any application that needs a solution for a harsh environment with high dust and moisture.

The HLG-120 series complies with global certificates per UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE including UL8750, EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13 of lighting regulations, and meets 4KV surge immunity (EN61000-4-5).
