Mean Well introduce the new RSP-2400 series, an enclosed 2400 watt switching mode power supply to extend the existing range of RSP power supplies currently available. The new series allows Mean Well to offer a complete high power product range, covering from 500W, 600W, 1000W, 1500W, 2400W and 3000W.

RSP-2400 uses advanced digital control techniques to significantly increase the flexibility of the power supply and greatly reduces the internal part count. For any applications that require even higher power the RSP-2400 can be used with the built-in parallel function to combine with two more units to triple the output wattage.

A major feature of the RSP-2400 is the innovative trim function allowing the output voltage to be adjusted from 20% to 110% of the rated voltage. This is achieved by adding 1 - 5.5 volts of external control voltage providing users with even great flexibility for designing their systems.

As well as the standard functions of remote sense, remote ON/OFF control, 12V/0.1A auxiliary output, and alarm signal output (both relay and TTL signal), the RSP-2400 series uses “constant current limiting plus delay shutdown” as the overload protection.

The RSP-2400 can power capacitive/inductive loads and still provide full protection for customers’ systems. If an application needs a continuous constant current for charging purposes, by selecting through the jumper CN3, the “shut-down” mechanism can be cancelled.
